The much anticipated debut release of Pork Belly Futures' Way Past Midnight combines writers, rockers, and classical musicians to form a jazzy blues album. The Pork Bellys reunite the singer/song-writing team of Paul Quarrington and Martin Worthy. The songs on this album provide a rare combination of animation and subtlety, humor and insight. Paul Quarrington's storytelling expertise is evident on such tracks as Gladstone Hotel, Healin Rain and the title track, Way Past Midnight. Another song that strikes a chord is Louisiana.
